The Future Human Resource Professionals (FHRP) of Leon Guinto Memorial College (LGMC) formalized a partnership with the Human Resource Students’ Association of the Philippines (HRSAP) on July 15, 2019, through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing. HRSAP is the student arm of the Human Resource Educators’ Association of the Philippines (HREAP).
The agreement paves the way for HRSAP to provide training and development programs, as well as national and international linkages, to FHRP members. The collaboration will also enable both organizations to work together on various projects and activities designed to further enhance the skills and capabilities of their student members.
“We are glad about the effort of FHRP, with the support of the management of Leon Guinto Memorial College, to be part of the national organization,” said HRSAP Acting President Reginald Bausas in a statement. “This partnership will directly benefit the students, and we are excited to have them in the upcoming events of HRSAP.”
The signing ceremony was attended by key figures from both institutions. Representing LGMC were Professor Jorge C. Andanar (Dean of the College of Business and Accountancy), Professor Edna Q. Altamira (Adviser), Mr. John Paul Masaga and Ms. Mikaela Valerie Vila (FHRP representatives), and Mr. Christopher Deza (Faculty). HREAP was represented by Professor Perry David L. Solosa (Executive Vice President and Director for Membership), Mr. Joseph M. Lardizabal (Chairman and President), and Mr. Reginald Bausas (HRSAP Acting President).
