The Human Resource Educators’ Association of the Philippines (HREP) visited Cavite State University – Imus Campus on July 29, 2019.
The team was welcomed by Dr. Cynthia R. dela Cruz (Campus Administrator), Dr. Alfe M. Solina (Chairperson, Department of Management) and Prof. Rosario B. Gumban (CavSU Faculty and HREAP Member).
Prof. Joseph M. Lardizabal (HREAP President), presented two of the HR programs of HREAP before the faculty members of the Department of Management.
Prof. Lardizabal discussed the Certified Human Resource Associate (CHRA) Assessment Examination for HRDM students and the Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management (PGCHRM) program for faculty members.
CHRA is an assessment examination of the basic knowledge in the field of human resource management. This will also serve as a qualifying examination to take advanced certification programs of HREAP. The examination is designed to assess the fundamental knowledge that a human resource practitioner must possess.
This certification will be part of the student’s credential and will give you a higher chance of employment considering the skills and knowledge they have attested by passing the examination. The list of passers will also be sent to our partner private institutions. With the stiff competition in the job market, this will be a definite advantage. This establishes also that the passer is a continuous learner. Employers are always looking for people who never want to stop learning and it is a value unto itself.
PGCHRM will provide the faculty members the latest standard practices of day-to-day activities of HR department as well as to make the participants acquainted about the upgradation of HR function and role. This course will help the participants to ensure the compliance issues of HR activities as per the standard level of HR practice.
This training will also ensure the sharing of knowledge among the participants as well as trainers to make the participants aware about the standard practices of HR. The certificate of completion is to be awarded by the World Academy for Research and Development, Ltd. in partnership with Human Resource Educators’ Association of the Philippines, Inc. and is recognized by SHRM-USA and HRCI-USA for their re-certification with Professional Development Credit units (PDC).
He was accompanied by Prof. Perry David L. Solosa, the associations’ Vice President and a faculty member of Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Manila.
HREAP is looking forward for a fruitful partnerships that will will benefit the students and faculty members with the CavSU – Imus Campus.
CavSU is a state university with Level IV status.
