The Human Resource Educators’ Association of the Philippines (HREAP) and Manuel L. Quezon University (MLQU) have officially inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), marking a significant milestone in their shared commitment to advancing human resource education, professional development, and meaningful collaboration between academe and industry.
The partnership was further strengthened through a courtesy visit at the HREAP National office by representatives of Manuel L. Quezon University. Mr. Ken Drexel Cadano, Program Coordinator of the Psychology Department, and Ms. Anne Christabel De Leon, Head of the Marketing and Communications Department, visited HREAP as part of the continuing engagement between the two organizations.
The courtesy visit provided an opportunity for both parties to foster stronger professional ties, exchange insights, and discuss potential areas of collaboration that can contribute to the academic and professional development of students, educators, and HR practitioners.
Through the newly established partnership, HREAP and MLQU aim to create more opportunities for learning, knowledge-sharing, capacity building, and holistic development. The collaboration seeks to bridge academic learning with industry practices by providing initiatives and experiences that will help students and academic personnel better understand the evolving landscape of human resource management and the broader business environment.
The partnership also underscores the importance of strengthening the relationship between educational institutions and professional organizations. By bringing together the expertise and resources of academe and industry, HREAP and MLQU can develop programs and initiatives that are responsive to the changing needs of the HR profession and contribute to the development of highly capable and future-ready professionals.
More than a formal agreement, the MOA represents a shared vision to empower future HR leaders through meaningful academic, professional, and industry-based experiences. It reflects both organizations’ commitment to nurturing competence, fostering continuous learning, and promoting excellence in human resource education.
As HREAP and MLQU move forward with this partnership, both organizations look forward to building impactful initiatives that will benefit students, academic personnel, HR professionals, and the wider human resource community.
Together, HREAP and MLQU take another meaningful step toward shaping a stronger, more innovative, and future-ready generation of human resource professionals.
