The Human Resource Educators’ Association of the Philippines (HREAP) successfully concluded its General Membership Meeting (GMM) 2024 on October 25, 2024, at the F1 Hotel Manila, BGC, Taguig City. Themed “Inclusive Leadership: Driving Cultural Transformation in the Workplace,” the event brought together HR professionals to explore strategies for building more inclusive and equitable work environments. HREAP’s commitment to inclusive leadership empowers HR professionals to drive positive change within their organizations by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion and fostering a culture of belonging, innovation, and employee engagement.
The GMM 2024 also served as a platform to celebrate outstanding achievements in the HR field. HREAP honored the recipients of “The Outstanding Human Resource Students (TOHRS) of the Philippines” awards for 2021, 2022, and 2023. Francis S. Diongco from Negros Oriental State University received the award for 2021. The 2022 TOHRS awardees included Kyla C. Antonio (Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology), Anna Lyssa C. Dayot (La Consolacion College Bacolod), Jev Earlvince A. Maranan (President Ramon Magsaysay State University), Angelie L. Otom (UM Tagum College), John Eldrine N. Roxas (Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila), and Christian Karl A. Tagoc (University of Mindanao – Davao City). The 2023 TOHRS awardees were Mary Athena G. Gundan (De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde), Tanya Patricia Munsayac (New Era University – Main Campus), and Graciella A. Roxas (Batangas State University ARASOF – Nasugbu Campus).
Furthermore, HREAP recognized the top-performing schools in the Certified Human Resource Associate (CHRA) exam. Several institutions were acknowledged for their students’ outstanding performance in both the 50-100 examinees category and the 101-200+ examinees category. HREAP continues to empower HR leaders and promote excellence in the HR profession through events like the GMM 2024, TOHRS awards, and CHRA recognition, contributing to the development of a highly skilled and inclusive HR workforce in the Philippines.
